Replacing head gaskets on the 6.0L is a major undertaking. It requires such an extreme labor commitment to expose the engine for head gasket R&R that you want to make darn sure that you get the job done right the first time and also make sure that you address every possible failure point while you are so deep in the motor.
We have worked on a ton of 6.0's over the last few years and we have been able to see what little tricks and tips work and which ones are wastes of time and money. If you follow the tips outlined in this section you can ensure that once you go this deep into the motor this time, you will not have to go back in it this deep again barring a major catastrophic failure.
